Hey, great read as always. I especially liked the part about seeing in color, its such a perfect way to describe moving past rigid thinking. How do you find this new way of seeing impacts your daily interactions?

Thank you for this. I am glad the “seeing in color” metaphor landed. That has been my experience too.

As my own aperture has widened, I’ve noticed something simple but big in daily life. I’m less reactive when stress hits and I give myself more space to notice what I’m feeling before I respond. Instead of snapping into old patterns, I take my time to decide how I want to meet whatever is in front of me.

I’ve also noticed more moments when compassion just… bubbles up. It’s not an intellectual decision. I see something going down and feel it in a different and more gentle way. That doesn’t mean I agree with everything, it just means I’m more present and less interested in “winning” the moment.

For me, that is what “seeing in color” looks like in real time. Thanks again for reading and reflecting this back.
