The co-creation dilemma: balancing technological advancements with human consciousness
There's little doubt that something new is unfolding on our planet, and all of us are facing various levels of change. In a previous post, I introduced an AMP session aimed at helping us navigate the fear of change during these turbulent times. Now, it's time to explore some fresh ideas concerning our interconnectedness and our role in shaping the future of our magnificent planet. To guide us through these concepts, our featured Alignment Process (AMP) film is Planetary (2015).
Planetary serves as a thought-provoking and awe-inspiring wake-up call—a cinematic journey that spans continents, exploring our cosmic origins and our prospects as a species. This poetic and humbling film reminds us that the time has come to shift our perspective. It delves into our interconnected nature and investigates the roots of our present crisis, presenting it as a fundamental issue with our perception of the world and our position within it.
This captivating film challenges us to reevaluate who we truly are, encouraging us to reconsider our relationships with ourselves, each other, and the world that surrounds us. It calls upon us to remember that we are all interconnected and that our actions have a profound impact on our planet, often in ways we are not fully aware of.
As you immerse yourself in this week's AMP film, look for the following key components included in the session:
We All Are Energy and Matter
In our book, It’s Just Commerce: Returning Balance To Business, we explored the concept that we are all composed of both energy and matter. This concept forms the basis for our discussion on co-creation.
It's important to note that the idea that energy and matter are intrinsically linked is not a recent or New Age notion; it has ancient roots. Around 7000 years ago, in the Indus Valley, people did not make a clear distinction between the realm of spirit or gods and the physical world of matter. There was an absence of awareness of separation. Everything - the animals, plants, the Earth itself, and the daily activities involving governance and temples - was intricately interconnected. There was no dividing line between life and spirit, nor between the temple and the village.
The ancient Indian philosophy of Sankya, for instance, taught that spirit or consciousness worked in perfect harmony with nature and the act of creation. According to this philosophy, consciousness and matter collaborated in a way that explained the very essence of creation. Everything that came into being, including nature, people, and all forms of matter, first existed as unique and focused consciousness before manifesting as physical matter or creation.
As human civilization progressed and intellect became more prominent, a separation occurred. This unity of life and spirit gradually transformed into a more rational and supposedly tangible reality. Conscious Spirit became associated with the emerging world religions, and God became perceived as separate from us, along with our role in the creation process.
When we entered temples or churches, it was there that we sought God's intercession in our lives. As science advanced, a new understanding began to emerge: one in which energy was revealed to have a measurable impact on matter. Now, the concept of God was no longer needed to explain the workings of the universe. Scientists employed mathematics to rationally explain what religions had once held as spiritual truths.
Mathematics and science unveiled techniques that directed our awareness back to the ancient understanding: that energy profoundly influences matter, a concept that civilizations had comprehended on a spiritual level thousands of years ago. This ancient spiritual wisdom that was once conveyed through notions of spirit and consciousness is now being explained by modern science in terms of energy.

In 1905, Albert Einstein made a groundbreaking revelation: mass and energy are essentially different expressions of the same underlying reality. As he eloquently stated, "The mass of a body is a measure of its energy content." Today, we recognize this as the famous equation E=mc^2, where energy equals mass times the square of the speed of light. Einstein's theory unveiled the profound idea that atoms, which we once thought of as solid matter, are, in fact, composed of nonmaterial energy.
Subsequently, scientists explored even deeper into the mysteries of the universe and uncovered the realm of quantum mechanics. This branch of physics emphasizes that the material world we perceive is, in essence, a companion to, and under the influence of, an invisible universal matrix of energy forces. These forces collectively form the field that governs and shapes our reality.
In our modern times, we are starting to recognize that various forces are at play in determining the expansion of our vast universe.
In summary, the intricate dance of creation simplistically comes down to the interplay between spirit or consciousness and matter.
In the documentary Planetary, numerous thought leaders share diverse perspectives on our interconnectedness. They explore what has driven us apart from one another and how we have become increasingly disconnected from nature.
When we grasp the fundamental truth that we are all comprised of energy and matter, intrinsically linked to the natural world, we gain a deeper understanding of our roles as individuals and as co-creators within the collective tapestry of existence.
Your Soul is Energy
The soul, often defined as the spiritual or immaterial aspect of a human being or animal, is regarded as immortal. It represents a unique consciousness that shapes our mental and physical experiences.
Deepak Chopra offers this definition:
"The soul is a living, dynamic part of each person. It exists in consciousness and, therefore, must be sought within consciousness."
In simpler terms, think of your soul as conscious energy that is distinctly you.
This vital part of ourselves can sometimes go unnoticed when we are not fully aware. Our consciousness provides the energy necessary for life within our bodies and collaborates with the Divine to create our physical existence. Amidst the rich tapestry of our physical and mental sensations, we often lose sight of the fact that we are, in essence, unique conscious energy.
A significant portion of our being is our soul, which plays a role in shaping our life's purpose. So, what prevents us from recognizing this larger, soulful energy within us?
Our attachment to the mind and body can lead to a disconnect from our awareness, rendering us unconscious or unaware. Both our mind and body are very much alive and eager to thrive. Life, by its very nature, is an experiment, and we are granted total free will to explore it as we desire. Our minds and bodies serve as tools to experience life, offering valuable lessons along the way.
Without the physical experience of life, we would miss the contrasts that facilitate profound learning. It's often said that our egos obstruct our awareness of our soul, the more extensive aspect of our being. The ego acts as a mediator between the conscious and the unconscious, responsible for reality testing and establishing our identity within our mind and body.
Recognizing that our egos are a part of our mind and body helps us understand why we might lose touch with our awareness of the soul. Both the mind and body yearn to live, be acknowledged, and fully express life. Throughout our evolution as humans, our focus has increasingly shifted towards the mind and body.
When we become entangled in our senses, our conscious soul awareness diminishes, and we begin to identify with our thoughts. We become attached to our mind and body identities and forget our broader existence.
Furthermore, we lose sight of our connections to one another and to nature. Now is the time for us to awaken to the power of our individual souls and begin a collaborative journey with our egos, ultimately fostering collaboration with one another.
Notice, I haven't suggested negating our egos. Instead, it's about collaboration. After all, if our minds and bodies wish to have a say, we cannot simply negate them. We must work in harmony with them.
So you might be thinking, but how do I begin working with my ego?
You align your mind and body with the power of the heart. While there are many techniques that can put you on this path - ours is the Alignment Movie Process (AMP). Consider eace of these AMP sessions as new programs for your energetic system.
I’ve covered some deep topics about energy, matter, and how your consciousness or soul work together. Throughout Planetary - there’s various discussions about us all being connected.
But what is it that connects us Humans?
We’re All Interconnected Through A Human Grid
All of creation efficiently employs energy to generate matter in specific forms. Science has recently begun to grasp that nature is intricately structured around self-replicating patterns, often referred to as fractals.
As our understanding of the efficiency of nature and the replication of patterns deepens, we can recognize that humans are energetically interconnected through what we might call a Human Grid. This efficient grid goes by various names, but I prefer to liken it to an electrical grid that distributes electricity to our homes. This metaphor makes it easier to envision how humanity is elegantly connected through the flow of human energy. Given our knowledge of how nature operates, it seems reasonable to assume that energy would find the most efficient way to support the human race as well.
Consider it this way: Our Human Grid grants us access to language, culture, knowledge, and the collective wisdom passed down through generations. This interconnectedness means that we don't have to reinvent the wheel with each new birth.
This concept of a Human Grid aligns with the ancient Greek philosophers' theories. The Greeks believed that patterns replicated across all levels of the cosmos, from the universal (macrocosm) to the smallest (microcosm), down to the sub-atomic. They sought a way to describe the unity of all creation.
So, when one individual—the microcosm—alters their belief patterns, it impacts our Human Grid—the macrocosm. This influence occurs regardless of whether the pattern change is positive or negative, virtuous or self-centered. It's simply how energy resonates.
Think of the Human Grid as humanity's operating system or the macrocosm connecting us all. To see evidence of our energetic Grid, we only need to observe the global events unfolding in the world. For instance, the 2008 financial crisis vividly demonstrates how interconnected we are through our financial system at the global level.
As our international banking system expanded and became more efficient, our systems had to adapt to keep pace. This mirrors nature's ability to leverage scale efficiently for energy. Consequently, financial connectivity reached such a level that any country struggling with debt, such as Greece, sends ripples through the global financial network or Grid.
Our financial interconnectedness also reveals our emotional ties. If market indexes appear bleak, our confidence wavers, leading to reduced consumer spending, companies holding onto cash reserves, and collective fear paralyzing markets. From a digital perspective, the Internet serves as a prime example of our human grid. It has united people worldwide, transforming business and information exchange forever.
Moreover, most of us now possess smartphones capable of instantly receiving global information, allowing issues to go viral across the planet in a matter of hours. What manifests in our physical world reflects the energy and patterns that underlie it. Does this make sense?
So, when you change the programming—when individuals work to shift these patterns—the world we observe also changes. Because our Human Grid is so efficient, change is equally efficient when individuals undertake the work to alter these patterns. Each of our AMP sessions is intended to make a benevolent contribution to our interconnected belief and emotional patterns.
We’re Co-creators - Whether We Realize It or Not
The concept that we play a tangible role as co-creators is not a novel idea for artists. Throughout history, artists have been driven to express themselves and their ideas. These creative urges manifest in the physical world through paintings, sculptures, architecture, and various other forms of artistic expression.
Anything new that requires inspiration also requires a human being to bring it into existence. Using artists as an example simplifies a concept that is inherently complex, yet intuitively, we all grasp this connection.
Given our interconnectedness and the fact that we are creating systems and ways of living that propagate on a massive scale, it becomes clear how we could unintentionally co-create systems that have detrimental effects on our planet. Without awareness that our collective patterns are contributing to planetary change, we could find ourselves in challenging circumstances if we do not awaken to this reality promptly.
When you watch "Planetary," it becomes evident that the featured experts aim to convey this message. We are interconnected, evolving, and transforming the world in unsustainable ways. Once we fully grasp that these changes are indeed happening, we gain the power to take action and address them.
The Co-Creation Dilemma: Balancing Technological Advancements with Human Consciousness
As individuals and as a connected global community, we've co-created a highly advanced and technically driven society. The rapid expansion of our population, fueled by these new technologies, is exerting tremendous stress on our finite resources and, in turn, impacting our planet.
While our technological advancements continue to double at an astonishing rate, approximately every two years, our emotional patterns and collective belief systems have not kept pace with this growth. This misalignment is discussed in the movie Planetary, which explores how technology is negatively affecting our planet. Our inability to keep up energetically and emotionally with our technology is obstructing solutions that could sustain growth in harmony with our planet.
The initial step that each of us can take is to initiate change from within. This AMP session is designed to help you begin this internal shift. When individuals align more with the power of the heart, it has a tangible impact on the Human Grid. As a result, humanity's operating system begins to undergo transformation.
In essence, by changing ourselves at the core, we initiate a ripple effect that extends through the interconnected grid of humanity. This shift in consciousness and emotional patterns is pivotal in addressing the challenges posed by our rapid technological progress and its impact on our planet.
