Part 2 — Healing the Original Extraction Wound
How a 1750s mission reveals the original wound — and how collective resonance begins to heal it.

Resonance and the Grooves of Creation
Whenever anything new is created — a family, a nation, a faith, or an economy — the emotional and belief patterns present at that moment persist. They ripple outward like waves from an original note, repeating until they are recognized and changed.
In Part 1, we named the system. Here, we meet its first echo — and the way home.
This next Alignment Movie Process ( AMP) shows how our modern Extractionocracy began, evolved, and led to where we are today. What we’re experiencing now — the relentless drive for profit, the quiet coercion of systems, the emotional fatigue of trying to keep up — didn’t appear suddenly. It is the accumulated resonance of centuries of fear, insecurity, and force. These are the ingredients that carved deep grooves into humanity’s collective field.
Each act of domination or desperation sent another vibration through the web of life. Over generations, those vibrations became familiar — inherited in our stories, our behaviors, even our DNA.
All of us carry ancestors who struggled to survive, who faced starvation, scarcity, or violence. Their fear became our vigilance.Their insecurity became our ambition.
Their survival strategies became the background hum of what we now call “normal.”
Over time, even our religions absorbed this vibration. The early message of love and belonging was gradually wrapped in fear — fear of punishment, fear of separation, fear of a wrathful God.
What began as devotion became compliance. What was meant to awaken the heart was, at times, used to control it. And when religion merged with commerce, the tone deepened. Salvation became a transaction. Virtue was tallied like profit.
The sacred merged with the market — and together they produced a moral economy that equated worth with obedience, success with divine favor, and suffering with sin.
This was the moment the extraction model became sanctified — not merely a way of doing business, but a way of believing.
⸻
The Collective Groove
Humanity’s oldest groove is extraction: the belief that to survive we must take, conquer, or own. It has replayed for millennia — from empires to boardrooms — a background hum so constant we mistake it for reality itself.
Our institutions merely amplify what our inner instruments still play.
That’s why lasting change never begins with systems alone; it begins with resonance.
⸻
The Power of Collective Focus
When groups of people consciously align their emotional frequency — through music, prayer, art, or shared intention — they generate a field strong enough to bend probability. Science glimpses this in social-contagion research and quantum coherence; mystics experience it as grace.
In practical terms, it means that what we collectively focus on with love begins to reorganize matter itself.
⸻
My Mission with AMP
The Alignment Movie Process was born to harness that principle for healing.
AMP invites us to feel a film, not just analyze it — to let its resonance expose the grooves we carry and gently retune them toward balance. Each session is a moment of collective focus: thousands watching, nodding, breathing, remembering together. The more we align around compassion instead of extraction, the faster the world’s tuning changes.
This, to me, is the mission:
to help humanity remember that the wound of extraction was never in the land or the markets — it was in our resonance.
And what was once tuned to fear can be tuned again to love.
⸻
Where the Pattern Was Born
Before shareholder value, there was God’s will. Before leverage and liquidity, there was salvation for sale.
In The Mission (1986), set in the 1750s, empire cloaks itself in righteousness. Crosses, contracts, and cannons arrive together. Business, church, and state become one.
“Our business and political free-market structures are enslaving countless humans into terminal poverty.”
“Business is ultimately about the buying and selling of people.”
The priests believe they are saving souls.
The traders believe they are civilizing savages.
Both are certain they are doing good.
And that is how the extractor model first disguised itself as virtue.
⸻
The Music That Wouldn’t Let Me Go
For me, The Mission isn’t only a film — it’s a companion, a master teacher, and maybe even a calling. The graphic from the movie became my point of focus; Gabriel’s Oboe became my leitmotif.
I would hear it everywhere — in the car, on classical radio, drifting through social feeds — as if the melody itself was whispering, keep going … the world can heal.
Morricone’s final score weaves all the film’s dissonance into one aching harmony:
the violence, the betrayal, the grief — and underneath it, Gabriel’s Oboe still playing, a thread of beauty that refuses to die.
“If might is right, then love has no place in the world.” — Fr. Gabriel
That line became my compass.
The melody, my proof that beauty survives even when everything falls apart.
⸻
The Way Back
The Guaraní people in the film embody what comes after extraction:
Community through song, labor through love, order through relationship.
Their music isn’t entertainment; it’s governance of the heart.
Historians note that the Jesuits and the Guaraní co-created one of the most remarkable cooperative communities in recorded history — a peaceful, interdependent society that endured for over 170 years. Commerce, art, and faith were integrated, not weaponized. It was proof that a spiritual-economic model rooted in harmony could thrive.
This is the template for what AMP seeks to restore —one movie at a time, one layer of confusion released, until the heart can sing again.
• “I now understand that all humans are indeed my brother and sister.”
• “I desire to create communities of commerce that perpetuate peace and harmony and allow all constituents to thrive for over 500 years.”
• “Only through balance of the masculine and feminine can we discover lasting peace and harmony with each other and the land.”
This is the opposite of Extractionocracy.
It’s Reconnection — commerce as communion, leadership as listening, progress as harmony.

Experience the Resonance Yourself
If you’d like to experience the healing resonance of this AMP session, begin with this simple Intention Session. It helps align your body, mind, and emotions so you receive the full benefit of the resonance. You only need to do it once — before you watch the film.
Step 1 — Speak These Aloud
I allow the changes in my timing and only integrate what I’m ready to.
I have faith that I’ll receive the benefits I desire.
I’m patient with myself as I make my changes.
I let go of feeling I’m too busy to take the time for this.
I let go of needing to understand how AMP works, allowing myself to receive the full benefits in my own timing.
Step 2 — Engage the Three Modalities
Nod your head “yes.”
Drink water.
Take several slow, rhythmic breaths through your nose.
Then simply watch The Mission all the way through. Don’t force insights — just notice what stirs. Trust that the resonance will do its work gently, in your own timing, with grace and ease.

If you try the Intention Session and AMP film, I’d love to hear what you noticed —please share in the comments.
As we begin to heal the wound of extraction, something even older begins to stir — a call from the living world itself. It asks us to remember what partnership feels like. To listen again to the rhythm beneath our feet.
Part 3 next week: we’ll explore that call — and what happens when humanity finally remembers how to live in balance with what gives it life.
Let Go & Allow Intentions
These Let Go and Allow Intentions are drawn directly from this AMP session and are designed to help you integrate the healing frequencies of The Mission in your own timing.
Let Go
I let go of the belief that power must come through force or fear.
I release the idea that God’s will can be used to justify harm or profit.
I let go of the unconscious loyalty to systems built on domination and extraction.
I release the inherited fear that survival requires obedience to authority.
I let go of the guilt and grief of lifetimes spent serving power instead of love.
Allow Resonance Reflections
I allow my heart to guide me toward peaceful cooperation with all beings.
I allow the memory of the Guaraní-Jesuit communities to awaken new models of harmony and shared abundance.
I allow divine love to flow through every act of service, replacing control with compassion.
I allow the wisdom of balance — between masculine and feminine, commerce and care — to lead my work and relationships.
I allow humanity’s resonance to retune toward justice, joy, and interdependence for generations to come.
